Its great to hear about the vegan dining options in the cities I have not visited. Thanks for sharing! I also had great trips in 2009. I visited the vegan dining scene in Seattle Washington and found many ethnic vegan restaurants as well as vegan donut shop. Australia may be next on my list. It is helpful to see a post on that country and what you have found to eat there.

2009 was a great travel year for me as well. It looks like we went to some of the same places. I'll be writing about my Australian vegan travel experiences in the upcoming weeks on my blog, The Vegan Snorkeler (hhtp://www.vegansnorkeler.blogspot.com).

It's difficult for me to be 100% vegetarian but I make every effort to eat something raw with every meal. :)

Kiley, that's so weird! I've had Daiya in my fridge for long periods of time and it held up really well. I hope you'll give it another chance! I've ordered mine online through a couple of sites and it was fine.

Mmmm, Coconut Bliss. Love. :)

Oh man, Youve inspired me to go on a road trip with my honey! :)

I thought it would be too tough to travel being vegan but, I'm so glad I found your blog to see that it really is possible!

Thanks for making such a great site!

Happy New Year!

I was finally able to find some Daiya here in town the other day and it molded in my fridge after two days :(
I'm assuming it's the fault of the store as like all Daiya right now it had been repackaged... I might wait until the retail packaging next year before I give it another go. The Dr. Cow looks fantastic, maybe they'll expand their west coast distribution soon.

Thanks for the Coconut Bliss shout out, you know we love you!
